Something I feel I should inform you about before complaining about scars, skin color or the use of guns, these aren't meant to be the original trinity, just three people inspired to take on their mantle to fight for justice in a post apocalyptic version of the DC universe.

Superman- A one time farm hand working on the Shugel Farm, Christopher Shields was forcefully taken in the night while the farm was burned to the ground and sold to mad scientists working under the tyrants who ruled over the wasteland. He was one of the many "Supermen" attempted to be created as soldiers for the tyrants to further spread their empire, however Chris escaped with help from a fellow prisoner and discovered the experiments gave him increased strength and durability, making as strong as steel. He eventually made his way to the ruins of what was once Metropolis and found a group of cultists calling themselves the "Last Sons" who worshipped a large statue of the "Golden Savior" and his skeletal remains. After witnessing his powers in action, the cultists declared Chris to be the reincarnated savior and offered him the tattered remains of a red cape with a golden S shield. During his encounter, he carved the symbol into his chest so that all would be able to recognize him as a symbol of hope in their very bleak world.

Batman- A young scavenger who witnessed the deaths of his entire family to a group of bandits, Brane Taylor grew up in the world as a loner seeing groups as a liability and that being alone allowed him to sneak into more dangerous areas without being detected. One day while exploring one of Gotham's many Man-Bat caves, he came across a hidden bunker filled with ancient technology. After activating the computer in the bunker he learned that Gotham's oldest urban myth was a reality after watching the last recording of Bruce Wayne. Inspired by Wayne's one man war against scum and villainy, Brane took it upon himself to continue the fight to rid Gotham of bandits, con men, and mercenaries as the Batman.

Wonder Woman- Raised in a female only bandit gang, Maria Hayes was one of the many abducted people to be sold for experimental purposes to create an unstoppable super soldier for the tyrants. Maria escaped with a fellow prisoner and discovered her increased warrior reflexes and altered strength. Traveling along with the man now known as Superman, they travelled to the previous heroes museum, the Hall of Justice, in Washington D.C. to learn more about how they should act and discovered her increasing similarities to Wonder Woman and decided to carry on the title of the Amazon Princess.
