Description
Or Nindroid Class EU.Made for the Ninjago-4ever 's "Design a New..." contest/challenge, where this time, one has to create a new concept and design of a Nindroid. Check out its Journal about it, if you want to participate.
Here's my entry!
The Journal said "brief description"... But man... I like to explain with detail my stuff
Concept
At the moment I saw the Jounal, lots and lots of ideas came to my head. From flying war machines to six-legged laser Nindroids. But at the end, I kept this one.
And yes, I know I had time until June 21st, but the ideas and ideas literally came immediately. I even dreamt with them! And at the morning, I truly started. Plus, I already had my ideas of enemies from before. So, you can't say I rushed with this one
The EU's main inspiration was Tony Stark's Iron Man suit, as far as appearance goes. With the core in the center and overall look of the armor.
Its main topic it's lightning, so I had to add something fitting in the building, yet unique and different from the other Nindroids.
Most of its details were inspired by the earliest concept art of the Nindroids, as well as the look of the blade. Such as the core of the body.
Background and Features
The 'Nindroid' Electrifier Unit was a power machine created with the purpose of a mobile energy source. With an electric box in the back, it can collect energy with the antenna and transfer it through the cables in the arm, ending in an electrode blade that can connect to a main source of power that distributes loads of energy to many machines in Borg Industries.
After the Overlord Virus was discovered, the design was left unfinished as Cyrus Borg got corrupted by him. The remains of the EU were taken and built, as part of the Nindroid army.
After this, the EU kept its ability to power machines, but it will also work as a weapon. Unlike any other Nindroid blade, the EU can electrify its blade and use it as to shock its enemies. The blade can collect as many energy as its available in the power box, however, as much energy consumes, it will become more dangerous for both enemies and the Unit itself, as this could be seen affected by an overheat state.
With an armored left arm and dual shoulder-blades on it, the energy could be kept safe.
Its building can be compared to that of a Nindroid Warrior, but its complexity makes it bulkier and stronger, in order to include the different electrodes and circuits inside. The right arm features extra shoulder armor that contains an energy box in the inside and release dual cables, as an emergency energy source.
What distinguishes this from other Nindroid Warriors is the addition of the silver (light gray seen in here), as a representation of its electric power.
Some higher classes feature the black mask and a purple belt, as a representation of the Overlord.
The "107" is just a random number, as an example of a class series.
I should upload someday my own Nindroid concept, so you guys will be able to compare him with the EU, and see the differences between them.
And now, before I finish, I didn't added shading/lighting and all that stuff, as this is supposed to be seen as a reference. However, I do included the red light and electricity, as a hint of its topic.
If you want me to make this guy fully detailed, let me know! But at the moment, this is my entry to the contest/challenge.
Good luck to everyone!

Sure!
''Design a New...'' Contest
As some of you know, me and Skcolb are the new owners of this group, and we've decided to try to start a series of contests. Keep in mind that these first couple contests will be tests to see how many people actually participate, so there won't be a prize. But if the contests catch on, there will be prizes and such.
This contest series will be called "Design a New..." The basic idea is that we will present a small story about something being discovered/created in Ninjago, and you have to create a new concept for that thing. For example, design a new type of Skulkin, or a new breed if serpentine, or a new Stone Soldier. Things like that. Then, the winning design(s) may be used in the next instalment of the story (maybe even impacting the direction of it).
In order to participate, we will open a folder for contests, and you will submit your entry into it. It needs to be a drawing, even just a sketch. NO LITERATURE! That makes it harder to judge. You also nee

Yeah, as I said down here, I really enjoy giving detail to the technology and futuristic stuff.
Thanks!

I really enjoy coming out with concepts and ideas with a lotta things, especially in hi-tech stuff. I often add more detail to those.
Glad you like it!
