Cloudsdale, EQ - An explosion at the Cloudsdale Weather Factory has left 47 injured.
At 12:30pm, halfway through lunch hour, factory monitoring systems detected an overcharge of the snow cloud production machine. Employees tried to bring the system back under control, but it was too late. The machine overloaded, causing a large explosion that injured 30 ponies at the factory. The blast also caused a large snowball to be launched, landing on the city of Ponyville. After the blast, the lightning containment tanks ruptured, causing an additional 17 injuries. Emergency response crews were able to contain the weather in about 40 minutes. Evacuations were still in effect until the facility is completely secure.
After a check of the security cameras, authorities determined that a pony disguised as an employee caused the blast by disconnecting the water lines and clogging the snow cloud production machine. Authorities are now searching for this pony, who had a blue coat with a rainbow mane and tail. The cutie mark could not be seen. He/she was seen with an animal wearing a propeller.
