Simple Clock Saver is free typography based screen saver for Windows OS.
The application has been created using ActionScript so adobe flash player 10 is required to run the screen saver. It has been build on Avant Garde Bold and XTLight weights and it as a great way to save your monitor energy at the same time you keep track of the current time and date.
The application is FREE FOR PERSONAL USE. You can download it for free from HERE .

I hate to be critical, but if you left this on for too long, wouldn't the month, day and year burn in to the screen because they're static? Would it be possible to make the text change positions on the screen every minute, say?

that's okay. those who don't know that these are actually font names, might take it for the coding environment or something. it could have been described better, i think.

Is the font supposed to be white or grey. Mine is grey, but the picture looks white, is that photoshop editing or can it be changed?

Preview is very misleading, would look alot better with the colour used in the preview, love the design and the typography but please can you sort the text colour out?

I can click the quick preview and it works fine, however when I hit apply in the screensaver prefs it just defaults to none. =/
