Description Considering recent developments, I figured I had to draw these guys sometime...

This is entirely just for fun.

I had to draw the brown Wolverine, cuz that's the best one!

And Spidey is always fun to draw.

Thanks! I think the roughness of the lines and flow of the lines help convey that motion.

yeah, i think so too. Goes to show that sometimes it's better to leave a kind of sketchiness to the drawing rather than make everything perfectly clean.

This is awesome, so full of energy! Also, I like that you colored Wolverine in the brown colors, I like it better as well.

Clear silhouettes is the fundamentals that I wish some comic artist would take note in. But I know it's even more difficult when you have backgrounds to deal with and a tight deadline.

Thank you! I was just letting the drawing flow, not worrying about where it took me.

And I love your color selection for Spidey too! 8D

If I have time, I'll finalize this piece.

And I wanted to make Spidey more saturated in the color selection. That way it doesn't look too much like Skittles colors.

Bravo, my top two fav marvel heroes!!!! Huzzah!
I was disappointed about the x-men movies because they didn't follow the real plotline whatsoever. And what was up with jean grey??? Arggh. I hate it when they do that.

BobbyRubio In reply to Sierryberry [2009-09-12 23:14:18 +0000 UTC]

I agree. SPOILER ALERT: how do you kill off Cyclops and then make Wolverine the leader? I really didn't like that. That sucked! But 2 was awesome! I try not to remember 3.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Sierryberry In reply to BobbyRubio [2009-09-13 03:08:20 +0000 UTC]

EXACTLY!! I DETESTED how they did that. I couldn't believe they killed off Cyclops, the Phoenix, AND the guy who started up the school and everything! Yes, two was good! I like Xmen origins: Wolverine the best though! Number three was a disaster, I was extremely disappointed. It's like the producers buy the characters, and then create a whole different story with them, just using them as pawns in a stupid plot line to make money. The whole concept irritates me, and I wish they wouldn't do that.

"Considering recent developments, I figured I had to draw these guys sometime..."

I always considered Wolverine comics PG-16 because, well... he has claws and regenerates.
The claws tear things/persons apart & people that
regenerate usually get their share of being torn apart.

Spiderman on the other side is more Disney-compatible, IMHO.
Keep it up!
Really enjoy the provocant (disney)style.
It fits Spidey so well!

BobbyRubio In reply to CleWeR [2009-09-12 23:26:43 +0000 UTC]

Man, I would love to see a rated R Wolverine movie... But that will never happen.

I actually think all Marvel characters look cool in an animated style. And I wish that there was more books with that look. And not just the ANIMATED comics.
