I could care less about the suit but if you seen the original and the new trailer you'd know he was shot up bad by a drug gang and not burnt to a crisp due to a explosion...just another box office flop

in the movie he starts out the right colour , then OCP thought it would sell better in black, Besides he gets put back in the silver-blue armor by the end of the movie

I'm just saying the older armor was more Iconic. When I think of RoboCop, I think of the visor and the Silver and Black colors (Metallic Blue from RoboCop 2 was fine too...) But ALL Black looks alot like Batman... just sayin'.

if i remember correctly since it's been a long time since i watched the original robocop. his armor was a lot tougher new armor took only a couple of shots for it to break. while the original took a hit from ed and was shot by the swat team that was the only time it got damage pretty bad. also cain shot him once and he just got knocked back and laser was the only thing that damaged him before the fall.
