it was longer, just problem is trolls crashing the shoots them you have how ever long it is before they manage to get down from 10,000 meters or re-log or send another alt to keep the grieving up.
So moved my filming back to private estates, since the owners do not care about their place anymore and allow this conduct there.

have you tried using the de-render options in the viewers?
select the offending avatar - de-render and *poof* they don't show up even if they are still there. they will think they are still annoying you with the one avvie so they would be less likely to drag in an alt. (even then de-render them too!)

have half them derender and muted, but it s don't so top them from rezzing stuff or pushing your they are still there just not rendering to you. so they do inmature things like grieving and most of these guys are royal assholes. who have been banned from sl dozens of times and came back as alts. the sim owners seem to not care, tha they drove away all the other folks with their bullshit, and wonder why nobody shops in their mall any more. One of their tactics, was anyone showed up in a nice avatar, they copybot them right in front of them and parade around in the avatars they just ripped off. Assholes, would mill in the mall and rip your avatar right after your bought it if your rezed it to try your new avatars out seeing they have only one spot in the mall for it the assholes just loiter there. So yeah, these guys are really annoying problem with no easy fix other than trackign them down in rl and killing them

in-world malls aren't getting the same attention they used to now that the marketplace is pretty much well established.
so far I have rarely had any issues with copybotters and greifers in general - maybe I'm just not in at the right places at the right times?

lol I still like to see what I'm buying I'll often go see it in world if they have store. try the demo see if it is good or sucks before wasting my money on it. even more so like now, people are just ripping off 3d model importing them into sl, dropping basic or stolen scripts into it and foisting it on people Mesh in the hands of somebody who knows what their doing still sucks cause the implication of mesh in sl sucks period so any advantage you have if it worked right lost cause all te work around you must do to make it work. Most malls are going under cause one they get targeted by said pests. Who harass and grief the customers. You gonna shop someplace that somebody going to shoot you in the back while you browsing the vender? The Marketplace sucks was better before Linden labs got their greasy paws on it. You might not have noticed, or under the radar of such folks. mostly I got clued o in just sitting there watching them attack others then gloat about after the deed was done. most of the were quite proud they had achieved being banned from a video game a dozen times and able to sneak back on.... Really really sad...
There be mob of them all standing in the main tp zone for the sim you have to land there to get to the mall. Your greeted by mob of _nakadhyperfutaherm_ things, oh and its PG rated sim so anyone can go there including kids. Hey your teen can stare at something with 6 feet long purple cock that dripping green glowing pregizz... And people wonder why furries get such a bad rep, well I don't every bit of of it the fandom deserves cause they let things like this happen. People that are new and kinda interested get hit by these tards, and harassed and pretty much turn to hating furries and return to grief the place.. The sim owners a red fused to change the rating setting on the sims so if its adult, then creapy erection futa things might be expected. They don't boot the people who are doing the harassing, most indications they encourage it. So yeah don't expect anyone to pay you to rent shop space if your allow such things to happen there are far better malls all over, that might not be as popular. but if the malls turned and there are better one that do police themselves. guess what your goign to be paying for your own sim.. and not have any traffic or renters

most malls are going under from a few factors: the greifers as you say, the operating costs of running the land to host them on, the drop in interest from creative people due to the effort required to maintain such in-world stores.
I think some malls were suffering from the start because I think they could have done with a bit better design and planning - some malls just don't feel inviting to be around due to their layout and appearance. (not to mention the spammy group inviters and other overused marketing tactics)
I agree with the marketplace - it felt a lot better back before it got bought.
As for the "nakadhyperfutaherm" greifers - I can see why they choose to use furry avvies - they know they will get a bigger reaction from the larger human crowds and newbies. They seek an audience and they will do what they can to get attention.

well it worked the place is now dead other than them and the owner had to rent out half the sim to keep from loosing it..
