Poor guy... He's probably just trying to level, but keeps dying and having to rely on his party's cleric.
I used to have that happen a lot on NWN, but... Oddly enough, it generally was to the song Safety Dance.

thats maybe cuz the hero has to kill a dragon that looks exactly like him/her
or maybe Apple MacPears don't have the right graphic card, and the lagging is messing with its brain. XD
