Hehe, took quite a while...
He, Raven, the redhead is my character. DOOM.
The right corner Raven is thirteen, just about to kill his daddy-O! (Raven's Dad: "Kick the baby! "Raven: " Dont kick the babyy~!" )
The second one is DEAD. Yeees, he shall DIE! I shall kill him all dead!
MWAHAHAA!!
And the white Raven, reborn, now called Akheira.
He serves Kaex Savatar, a deity who brought Raven back from the black.
Yeeeh.... OC and a MOUSE!

Gods... I remmeber when you submitted this...
I was just awe~struck, completely speechless...
And somehow , even though I have gazed upon this long again and again, studying it's vestige and forms, thus I can't understand why I have not realized it before; that his past is ebroided and carved in his cloak, staining it with deep dark crimson, shredding it away.
And now I love it even more, while I understood the symbolicy, atleast I feel like I have understood it properly only know... But it makes me only feel more fond for this picture, for I love things that challenge me, and take time and thought, not things that are only granted.
And it took me quite a while to even try to express my feelings towards it in words...
Still, i absolutely want to say it, not least for you don't have enought appreciation for yourself, but because I just feel like... I just want to say it.
Somehow this piece has such an excuisitely mystic feel, created by that dream like compositioning of the flowing shapes and forms of the characters, and vivid strokes of the hues.
the deep dark crimson hues are like a pulse of soul in this, that make such ornamentic shapes twining this piece, and it's lore, together, and the flow of you're lines, the way you've weilded your brush, only gives more to this portraying, gives it it's soul.
I feel such longful sorrow, still so tranqful peace in his expression, even though he has only delicate whispers of expression on his face.
And I love how you've made the moments past more like vague and vivid feelings, simplistic in a way, still so expressionate, not so much like only portraying characters nor poses, but more like a pattern of feel.
And the compostioning, the shapes and forms the shifting hues and shades create, just binds it together so perfectly, making it so much more than the seeming simple picture with a man and his skies.

I love the overall dark atomosphere of this piece, it really sets the mood. And the overall shading is great, and what a lovely cloud background, if I might add!
