Description
A commission I ordered in 2011 from the very talented Mr. Mhunt featuring Spider-Man who armcarries an unconscious and defeated Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) to safety. You can view the piece in his own gallery here (and give the artist some well deserved credit).I was feeling inspired after watching reruns of Spider-Woman and I always enjoyed the episode S01E04 "the Ghost Vikings" , where Spider-Woman gets knocked unconscious and then armcarried away by some one of the Vikings.
The torn costume was an idea after seeing an unconscious Moonswift being carried off the battlefield in MasterOfZen's gallery (she was also always one of my favorite heroines, such a beauty).
I just love the way it turned out, especially now that the mask is ripped and you can see Jessica's beautiful unconscious face..

It was from the her original Spider-Woman series as well as a few issues of the New Avengers volume 1. The thing is that MARVEL decided to give her to Hawkeye, and they are always making out, where in contrast Spider-Man relationship with Ms. Marvel is taking its time. I was never a fan of Hawkeye x Spider-Woman. But I don't think that Marvel wants to do a Spider-Woman x Spider-Man relationship because they are afraid that no one would like it because of their themed names. What they don't realize that its not the costume that defines the characters. It's their personality respectively.

He is coupled with a few characters isn't he? I think the he and Spiderwoman are the cutest together, I am not really sure about the others like Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane though.

Yeah - I've been a bit back and forth about this regarding if it would have been better to have her mask off or show it completely. Then I came up with this

I understand your point completely. I love costume damage but masks are a different issue altogether as that is what visually makes them the heroine they are. Completely off would not work but half and half is ok.

Normally I would totally leave the mask on. But with those big white eyes it would make it seem more like she's dead. Not really my cup of tea.
But I have another one coming up with the mask completely off. so we'll know soon
