I HATE drawing Raditz's hair. Bardock! Give your son a hair cut! I dressed Raditz like kid Prince Vegeta. Turles too, but I altered the design a little.

I wouldn't draw it like this, in my dreams, the mom died giving birth to goku, and both bardock and raditz blame goku for it, that's why they both hate him.

I share your opinion. But because it's never officially stated what relation (if any) he has with Goku, fans come up with their own theories.
This particular picture was drawn by request of a friend. In her mind, Turles is Goku's brother.
Personally, I like the idea of Turles being Bardock's older twin brother.
It's all up for debate.

Wouldn't work XD Saiyan's are born with hair the style and length proportional to their body that they will have for their entire life. Cut a Saiyan's hair and it will quickly grow back to intended length and stay there. It's kind of like fur that way. Vegeta states this once or twice.

It's debatable.
Turles could be a long lost brother of Goku's; it's possible. But I doubt it. This was drawn by request of a friend, and said friend likes the idea of them being brothers.
Personally, I like the idea of Turles being Bardock's older twin brother.
But to answer your question: THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW.

Well I think it was stupid how they wrote off the resemblance as a lower class saiyan trait.There were NO other saiyans in any flash backs or any that were mentioned besides turles, bardock and goten that looked like goku that much, so it was a bullshit cover up for them to make him not goku's uncle or brother, plus he clearly insinuates he is not lower class saiyan in the original jap with subs when he calls goku lower class trash. I firmly believe the only logical explanations are that he is bardock's brother, or Raditz's younger brother but Goku's older brother. being that prince vegeta was 5 yrs old the day the planet exploded and raditz was either the same age as him or older, then turles can be at the least 4yrs older than goku, considering he worked for frieza before goku's birth, then he disobeyed his programming and became a space pirate pretty much with the goal of becoming strong enough to kill frieza and king cold by using the tree of might, There is NO possible way he is goku's twin brother. either his uncle or older brother from the logic and possibiltys. Raditzand bardock never denied there was another only things that were stated is that Raditz was bardocks oldest son and Kakarot was his youngest. think about that people.

Personally, I support the idea of him being Bardock's twin brother, but that's just me. This picture was a request my ~IcePrincess11819 to whom, according to her fanfic, Turles is Goku's older brother.
The third class resemblance thing is complete bullshit. Plus, Turles was wearing first class armor. (In the Namek saga when Vegeta has to change his armor on Freeza's ship, he switches from the type with "wings" on the shoulders to armor similar to Bardock's third class armor and makes a remark that there were no first class armor in his size. So Turles, a supposed third class Saiya-jin, wore first class armor? I guess that is believable. He was sort of a traitor what with the froot of the Tree of Might and his plan to overthrow Freeza, he could have stole the first class armor. But yeah; him, Bardock, Goku, and Goten (and if you want to count Goku Jr.) were the only Saiya-jins that looked so eerily similar.

Actually, I don't think Turles is their brother. This was a request. Someone asked me to draw this scene from their fanfic where Bardock gets crowned king and he and Kiara (Goku's "mom") get to keep their kids. I don't know the story, I just drew what was asked..
