Looks so mysterious to me. Maybe I should blame it on the colors, which are really beautiful (and also my fave). Great work my dear.

I've always been a fan of fractal art, and this is one of the most awesome I've seen, for the sheer fact that it's not just a repetition of the same pattern. It may be, and I just can't see it, but it has originality and has it's own personality. It looks like it could easily be a background for a sci-fi piece, or a wonderful stand alone piece. very lovely work!

well, that has to be the best compliment I've gotten here on deviantART thank you very much!
There IS a repeating pattern but it distorts each time
unfortunately I don't have a higher res copy and I don't want to draw it out again :/

any good sites out there that can show me the settings to use? I cant seem to find any good videos or sites that show step by step to render even a sphere.

I can't really help you as I learned by fiddling with settings and dragging triangles.. but I can say that the "Julia3D" setting is all important once you allow a final transformation (the green triangle symbol on the top right) - I always (almost) finish my fractal then add a final transform, set Julia3D to 2 and everything else to 0 - then open the 'variables' tab and change the Julia3D_Power (I find "-2" gives the most interesting results). . . I hope that was somewhat helpful? :S Unfortunately there are so many things you CAN do it's difficult to explain an important one
