Oh mothers....xD On a slightly unrelated note, I wanted to ask how you keep your art so
clean. Do you scan it in on the computer after coloring it and just erase everything else? Cause I do traditional art myself and I'm just curious what your technique might be.Β

There's nothing to it really. After initially scanning it into my computer the only edit I will make will be to saturate the colours by roughly 40%, since my scanner doesn't seem to like them. I don't erase anything on my drawings, how they appear on screen is exactly how they are in real life.Β
If however, when you're scanning in your images the scanner seems to detect every single contour of the paper, then the chances are it might be to do with the paper type itself. Don't worry though, as that's just a case of trial and error, even I've had problems with it in the past. It's just a case f finding out what works best. A handy hint though, don't buy a Sketchbook from a company named 'Crawford and Black', they're notorious for cheapness.

Thanks for the info! Hmm..maybe I'll see if that saturation thing works. Β (I use the sketchbooks from Strathmore) I guess my plain problem is I tend to unintenionally smear pencil from my hand onto different areas of the paper and then no matter how much I erase, it tends to be picked by up by the scanner. It's not incredibly bad, but it can be a bit noticeable.Β
