Had a shock moment when making this, purely from researching the original air date for 'Lesson Zero'......nearly eight years ago as of writing...
...I wasn't even part of the fandom when it originally aired. Where has the time gone?
I wanted to do a montage of Twilight freak outs, but there's been so many over the last few years I would have been shackled to my desk for the next two weeks drawing them all! XD

Twilight actually surprised me when she pointed out lessons she learned in prior episodes, as well as how the episode references the ramped-up security of the Royal Palace and yet the villain trio (Chrysalis, Tirek and Cozy Glow) still managed to get what they came for using their own expertise.

I don't think that there is any real security in Equestria. They have truly managed to make the Royal Guard a total and complete joke. They have not succeeded at anything, which is totally ridiculous. Even a stopped watch is right twice a day for crying out loud.

I remember quite clearly when that episode aired.
Everyone was already gaga over "Return of Harmony" weeks earlier and since the week afterwards was "Luna Eclipsed" everyone was going nuts that Luna was coming back. No one really thought much of this.
And then it actually aired.

But, I was looking forward to the oceans 13 references? Seriously, didn't anyone get the feeling I was watching this episode that twilight seven a.k.a. ocean 8 was all set up for this episode, which alternate title, probably the writer's office, the V team! tbh i think the twilight freak outs should have been cut back (if not entirely eliminated) after she became a Princess some are tired of it there was even a soapbox entry in Equestria Daily about it maybe it's just me i don't know

I prefer a protagonist with good qualities AND flaws than a flawless character.
My fear is that Twilight will become a flawless character.
For me, Twilight at the end of season 4 was the best Twilight.
That's just my personal opinion.
