...wait for it...Well, a good month late, but I finally caught up on episode comics! I had planned to fill the hiatus with a few episode comic ideas that were initially scrapped, but now seem too good to waste, however, given Season 7 restarts August 5th with a double episode day, there simply isn't the time. They'll have to wait till the end of the season
Oh, and if anyone out there gets that title reference I'll be seriously impressed!

Eh, that probably wouldn't be too disastrous; since hot air rises, you only really need to worry about a hole in the top of the balloon. The balloon would probably survive a puncture that close to the bottom.

True, but Twilight is an Alicorn. Her magic is more powerful than it was when she teleported herself, Spike, Rarity and Rainbow Dash back to Equestria from the Dragon Lands when she was still a unicorn. I think that even back then she could have used the spell again soon after, unless they were already so close to Ponyville that she didn't bother.
Yes, I know we've seen Alicorn Twilight get tired after using magic, but she used a lot more spells than just one teleportation spell when she fought Starlight. Of course, I don't know how much power teleportation drains out of the user and it's clearly a difficult spell, but I'd like to think that Alicorns are able to use it a good few times before needing to recharge. Heck, just look at Flurry Heart!
