Description
One thing that has happened in all this lockdown, I've seen a bit of a resurgence in my railway modelling (00 & 009 for those interested!)Kind of scary to think that last time these two appeared was 11 months ago! The longest break since they first appeared in 2013...
----
And thus, we come to the end of an era...
What?! No! I'm not going anywhere!
I revoked my Adobe subscription, that's all. So this is the final image (for now) made in Photoshop. If I appear to go absent for a tad longer than normal, it'll probably be because I'm getting used to new art software. That, or I was distracted by model trains again!

Could be worse, one ride able train going through your house is better than a thousand little ones going around with towns and forests decorating the floor.

Several months later, one of them will be lying on a floor with a wired shank sticking out of his back

May I recommend Krita? It's totally free, full-featured, and thus far has played really nice with even my Huion Pen Display.Β

I just love those two.
I wonder if he is now in trouble because some of the larger scale railroads trains need to have their tracks tacked down, much like a real train from what I understand.

Not all of them need to have their tracks tacked down. The 40cm gauge Decauville portable railway system seen here sits quite happily on a polished wooden floor!Β www.carendt.com/small-layout-sβ¦

If I placed metal tracks on the floor, well let's just say Willaim Wallace suffered that fate!

I'd actually be nice if you could put up trains of that size just like that. Sadly, they are way too heavy and expensive for that...

Ah, but what are expense and weight when you have willpower!
