Octavia sure is in for a fright when she wakes up! I also get the distinct feeling she'll ask her Mother to come back from her holiday sooner!
And hopefully, I'll never have to draw Vinyl from behind and mess it up like I did here, ever, ever again!

I sort of did this to my wife before we got married. A friend gave me a HUGE base amp that he no longer wanted. It was ridiculous, and at the time I didn't have anywhere in my flat where I could store it except the master bedroom on her side of the bed. Somehow, I managed to move it up a flight of stairs and into the flat without waking her up. But she woke up as soon as I put it down beside the bed. I thought she was going to kill me. So yeah, I know exactly the look that Octavia's going to have when she wakes up. Priceless.

And funny that you bring up your problem with the view from behind. I almost always struggle to draw the mane of ponies from this angle and would have absolutely no idea how Vinyl would look.

Yeah, the was the problem, I just figured if i made the highlights all link up at the back, the rest should be easy...and I still managed to mess up the hair lines!

Hmmm... This is actually surprisingly considerate of Vinyl. The blanket is not part of the joke, so is pure comfort for her friend, and while it looks like she's about to start the wubbing, she put up a fake so that she doesn't actually interrupt Octavia's sleep... Still immature and kinda jerkish, but it actually shows a bit of caring, which I like.
