It amuses me no end how simply this episode could have been resolved with a tiny tent and some earplugs (Sleep mask is optional!)Β Starlight being Starlight of course, it's no wonder she went for such an over the top solution that she thought would solve everything

Earplugs sounds like a good idea, but leaving your stuff outside in unknown lands might not be too safe

Then they'd have to worry about the caravan getting robbed/stolen instead. Especially when Trixie's caravan actually was stolen the moment she took her eyes off it. If you can't trust your best friend, who can you trust?
Of course, Starlight sleeping in a tent, with her own stuff, would be perfectly practical. But that wouldn't be cozy! (And it'd be thematically/emotionally jarring.)
