So, purely out of interest, I thought I'd have a listen to the audio for that 'Pony Christmas Phone Call' number that you can ring up in the U.S.www.youtube.com/watch?v=5W6DWhβ¦
The moment it was revealed it was Princess Celestia operating the switchboard, I lost it. I have to pause the audio I was laughing so much!
Well, it could explain why she's never available at convenient moments

In fact, I have private headcanon that Equestria is constantly near bankruptcy because of the invasions, the massive musical scenes and some new grand festival occurring every month, therefore Celestia and Luna are doing one big get rich scheme after the other. (So far it has worked and the mob has been nice enough to let them keep their horns despite being late on their last payment).
