Honey, tea, rest, hot showers (for steam) unless you happen to have a humidifier, all work pretty well for fighting colds

The best cure is sleep. Granted though having someone trying their best to take care of you when you're not at your best does have it's upsides. Like not having to get up to warm your own soup.
It does feel nice to have something hot burn through the cold. Granted the alternative is cough mixture. That'll go through literally anything. I like the detail on the blanket especially, the folds on the bottom add a lot more depth, especially since you've worked it it with the tails.
