I was also wondering what software you use to get your drawings to look like vector... I use Sai for drawing, then I lower the brightness so the black outline turns gray, then I color with an overlay, and then fill in the color with an underlay.... I never seem to get the exact colors though lol...

I do the vectoring in Google Sketchup, grey scale color it, then import it as a 2-D graphic. Then I color it in photoshop. I just use the color guides here on DA. It's kind of a weird way to do it but it works for me.

Ya.... I am used to doing it the way I do it, but I have to make the black outline very light grey, just to overlay color it.... I have the color guides also ^__^... How is Google Sketchup? does it have a very good interface?

In Sketchup, you can switch the lines off before you export. That's why I need to gray scale color it first so photoshop can see the different areas without outlines.
Here's an example of what an image looks like just before I export it: [link]
Sketchup an awesome program, especially for being free.

Ya, that's why I like GIMP and Sai.... How do you do your outline coloring? is it done with an overlay, cause that's how I do mine...

The outlines (Or strokes) are actually polygons themselves. I trace the outer edge then offset, tapering the edges manually. I fill them with color just like the rest of it.
