Description
"[This Plane of immanence] knows only relations of movement and rest, of speed and slowness, between unformed, or relatively unformed, molecules or particles borne away by fluxes."Gilles Deleuze
Of course, immanence never begins and never ends, it is always in the middle of its own immanence. This image is, perhaps, thus inaccurate. It denotes growth, connotes arborescence but the immanence is always in the process of emanating so we should perhaps think of this as pretty and little more even though immanence was the word that sprang to mind when I saw it. Does it matter anyway? How many philosophically inclined artists will see this anyway?
Oh well, this a better render of my ID picture sans Camus. My apologies for the size but hey, *.png is better than *.jpg

"Spiff-tacular", I like that word. I wouldn't be infringing any intellectual property rights if I were to use would I?
Thanks again

That is very cool. I'm not into things like this, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing what others do.

Thank you. I do this stuff because I'm obsessed with conceptual stuff. I doubt I'd be good at anything 'artistic' if it wasn't conceptually based. I have great respect for photographers like you and Ev as well as cityscape/architectural stuff but I really can't do anything like that, for me it's mostly finding things fit that fit with ideas.
I'm a nerd.

I got to thinking later and probably could have said what I said in a better way. When I said, I'm not into this kind of thing, what I meant to say, was even though I don't do this kind of thing.....but, I think you knew what I meant. And, you never know what you can do until you try it. A couple years ago, Evanita wasn't even interested in photography until she decided to take a class in high school. Look at her now, she's just as much of a photoholic as I am. LOL

Don't fret, I understood what you meant. It's a large part of why I am grateful for your comment, to me doing something that appeals to people who 'aren't normally into that kind of thing' is good because it has something that works on an affective level and that's way more interesting to me. The things I end up liking the best for a long period of time are the books, philosophies, films, photographers, etc., whose work has an affect that exceeds just liking the technicality of the work. Which explains why I grew fond of Evanita's and your photography. I love nature and the two of you produce images that have something 'more' to them. I wish I could explain it better but I think if we could explain that "I don't know what" (which would be in French if I knew how ) feeling it'd probably be lost.
