The sky has a fantastic late Winter feel to it.Β Love the orange of the trees in the distant windbreak, it is like they are catching the last of the sunset before night overtakes the land. Lots of movement & planes in this painting. Love the light in the snow & ow it catches on the rows, giving the field many textures.

And indeed it was that moment just before the sun hides behind the clouds, closing the day with some bright spots of last sunlight painted on the ground.
