Eine interessante Mischung aus Abstrakt und Real. Sie ist klar erkennbar, der Rest aber könnte vieles sein. Kantine? Kasse? Straßenbahn? Ein sehr schönes Bild!

Ja, hier ist der Kontrast, die Zwiesprache und damit Spannung zwischen abstrakten Farbtupfen und der Figur sehr stark, bewusst natürlich, denn es ging mir nur um die Farbwirkung des Thekenraumes und der Figur. Der Betrachter soll entscheiden, wo sie arbeitet.
Interessanterweise kehre ich bei meinen aktuellen Bildern, die sich wieder dem Thema Star Wars widmen, in realistischere Darstellungsweisen zurück. Das Phantastische wäre sonst gar nicht mehr erkennbar und mir macht dieser Wechsel je nach Motiv und Bildidee einfach Spaß.

Und ja, ich glaube auch, abtrakte Sci-Fi wäre schwierig zu erkennen.

It's like the more reveals itself from the subtraction although I don't really see lesser detail in this at all...It's just shifting the attention from one kind of detail and texture/brush/color scheme to another !!!
I still think more is more...just depends on what kind of more.....
Less would be just showing a blank page....Then you start to draw something on it...and there you have it...But that's another story...Hahaha !!!

Super interesting to hear about your thoughts on details here and I really like how you see things. Indeed those textures and tons of colored spots and strokes are the details and it depends on your imagination what they might be in our world... though that doesn't matter as long as the "feeling" for the surrounding is right - the figure just gives your mind a hint.
