It reminds me of my dad who passed away 4 years ago.
He, he used to play the piano with me.
The position, the color of the piano... just strikingly similar.
He also left an unfinished song.

Art is another form of expressing feeling, and I believe this piece did it perfectly.
I was drawn in by the beautiful use of light on the right side of the picture, and my eyes didn't register the whole art piece at once.
Then I looked over to the left, only to note that the boy was missing an arm. I literally felt emotions when I was gazing at his left side. Sadness. Resignation. Even a bit of hopelessness. But now, noticing the butterfly of light on his shoulder, I feel that in this picture, he isn't feeling what I just felt now. He's finding the hope to push past his limitations and move past his disability.
Thank you for this wonderful piece of art. It speaks softly, yet clearly, and that is what makes it beautiful.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece. The overall concept is beautiful and conveys so much emotion. I have a father who is an amputee, and this reminds me that although he cannot change his condition, it is better for us to cope with it and become stronger.

Wow!! The feeling of this piece is incredible. I especially like how you did the colors, with warm colors on one side, and cool colors on the other. And the contrast between the blues, darker reds, oranges and the thing on his shoulder (it reminds me of a butterfly
