Amazing. This totally needed to be said. I very much try to comment, unless there are already a million pages of comments left, but if there are only a few, i always comment. The artist gets so much more from a comment than they do from a fav.

Don't care how late this is. Then don't fav it. If you're too lazy to use 2 minutes of your time to leave a comment, then don't use 20 seconds to fav a picture.

Ehhh, I always fave&run cuz a +fav is a compliment, and if I'm just going to say "Kawaii desu!" or "Cute!" or "Cool", I'll sound like I don't really care about the picture itself, and that I just care about how cute/cool/"kawaii" the pic is. A +fav is a non-annoying way to say "I like this". I comment a pic when I'm impressed with someone's improvement, or when I really like a pic.
But when I see that Comment before you fave Icon, it's simple: I don't comment it, but I don't fave it either.
And I don't really expect people to thank me for faving. I don't care about pageviews.
