This is my latest purchase,an ancient Roman coin minted during the reign of Constantius II.

Diameter is about 24mm,rather thick and solid coin it is.The surface is covered with smooth,dark brown patina. The dealer asked for $17.

Obverse: Portrait of the emperor, diademed,draped; Lettering: DN CONSTANTIVS PF AVG(our lord Constantius,the pius,joyful Augustus)

Reverse:Emperor holding two labarums with "Chi-Ro" sign; Lettering :CONCORDIA MILITVM(Harmony with the soldiers).but only "Concordia is legible on this coin); mintmark is "SIS",that show this coin was minted in Siscia (Sisak, Croatia).
