#11 is really funny. But don't throw away those holy socks. They can be used as cleaning rags before they are thrown away.

Hehe, had more storms last night, kept taking the power out and waking me up. Not had any snow at all this year Can I have some of yours?

You can have ours and welcome to it. We had 20-30cm last night then it rained today. The university and schools all closed for the day. It has been painfully cold too. Mind you, I think I prefer it to Britain's extreme gales of late.

3 and 6 are my favourites so far, but all of your haikus give a snapshot of a scene with your clever imagery and a bit of humour thrown in. Very well done indeed, good luck completing the Haikuthon!

I love the one for March 4th, it's so much like how human thoughts work. Its almost also like you're just observing this random scene happening in front of you, it's amazing and I like reading it because it makes me feel like im watching it happen and you achieve it without a lot of description. You've really captured what a haiku is in my opinion.
