I've always considered fairies as glaring little beings... and when I was asked to illustrate one, I took the task as a real challenge. One of my main concerns was not to make the final image look too kitschy!
)She comes from the light,.. and in short, her mission was to stop humans from killing each other. Being a fairy, she sprinkles "magic lsd-isiac powder" around the battlefield and all the soldiers receive "the power of blessing and are immersed by a happy feeling"!

Great art, but that's an ANGEL, not a Fairy. Big difference. Angels have wings like a bird, Β with feathers. Fairies have gossamer dragonfly-like wings or butterfly wings.Β

I really like her design.Β You did pull in some classic fairy elements (the long ears, the sparkling markings, her cute outfit), but the angel wings and her sword give fer a more celestial, angelic aura.Β You did a really good job in bringing in her "blessing" powers into the design and I love how you show the expression of the soldiers changing; you can tell that they were in a serious battle (due to the dark colors and mud around them), but their expressions show how overcome with happiness they are.Β What a great scene!Β I love how you draw scenes!
