In order to be a true albino it would need to have blue or pink eyes. It seems to have brown eyes. In which case it could be a melanistic variant, they also come in white not just black. Cute! Not really sparrow shaped though... But it is in a different country to the sparrows I'm used to, lol.
This inividual has a better chance of breeding white offspring than an actual albino as the other parent does not need to have the same recessive albino genes, since it does not seem to be a true albino. As far as I can tell, anyway.

It'll be interesting to see if next year that sparrow produces some white offspring... If it doesn't get killed for being so visible. They're smart little birds, cheeky and swift, hopefully it can survive. Hope you get photos of its babies next year!

That's a good picture. I saw an albino sparrow when I was on holiday in Devon, England. It was fun trying to spot him when we walked past the place where all the sparrows were.

That doesn't look like a sparrow, it looks like a canary.

Not too far from my home, there is also a place where we used to see albino sparrows, but they disappeared after a while. I guess they died, sparrows don't live for too long.

I still see a sparrow around my block, it's a female, and her wings are almost completely white. Never seen an albino, though.

There's defintely luck in this picture due to the albino sparrow, but also great skill for a great shot!
Beautifukl contrast between the brownish background and the white little bird, with great light and focus too.

I like it when birds looks curious, or at least this little sparrow looks like it's trying to see what's up (;
Great shot, because it's albino it really stands out in the picture too.
