Are they any additional shots with their wings open? It could be any of a number of species, including a few known hybrids.

I think that I have conclusively solved your puzzle:
Lycaena tityrus, The Sooty Copper. Perhaps it is even the subspecies subalpinus. [link]
I first noted the similarities to the hairstreak butterfly and that it lacked the bright coloration of the Blues, as you originally suspected.

i THINK they look very similar to the silver-studded blue, not sure on the global distribution of them though, heres a link if you want to check them out, some are more blue than these though!
