Wow. This just takes bird photography to another level. Simply breathtaking and epic beyond words. The timing and capture is just perfect, love the low angle perspective and the water splash. One could not have wished for a better shot.
p.s Some questions about technicalities: Did you used manual focus or auto? And did you track the bird all the way or prefocus on certain spot at the water? I know just how fast these buggers are...especially when diving into the water! (I have photographed the same species before)

Hi, is not so hard to catch it ,just wait close to water and start traking bird when hovering before strike ,i made it like this .Used all AF points of my camera , cos' bird is really small and even in close distance focus jump on tha background when i have only 1AF point ,also used Aperture priority and made compensation -1. Of course made lot of shots ,but just on few pose is good ,timing is right and light is enough.Metering is evaluative
