Description Decided to try out this rather interesting meme, just to show you peeps some of the stuff that keep me hyper going.

The VF-103 F-14B Tomcat signifies my love for aviation, which extends to military aviation and anything featuring it (airplane games, Macross, etc.). And the reason why it's a 4x2 block is because it's one of my biggest interests ever. |D

The Nissan GT-R signifies the fact that I'm also a big car enthusiast. From the tiny ones such as the Smart Fortwo to big ones such as the Ford F-150 Raptor, my interest goes as far as Gran Turismo, Need for Speed (up until Hot Pursuit II), You're Under Arrest, and so on.

Rosario + Vampire is what restored my faith in the supernatural genre of vampires, werewolves, succubi and the like (long before that Twi$@*#% crap). Also, one of my OCs is heavily inspired by the lovely succubus you see on the cover (Kurumu Kurono).

G.I. Joe, one of the staples my childhood (hence it being 3x1), is somewhat probably what whisked me into the military genre as a kid. Not to mention that some of my art here is actually inspired by its mythos.

Metal Slug, the franchise that somehow reinvented Contra-style run & gun action, is what I owe much of my stuff here in dA to. In fact, I was a big fanatic of the series when I joined deviantART (hence it being 2x2).

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 is arguably the series that became my most favorite Gundam series of all time, mainly due to its real-world setting (A.D., not U.C. nor C.E.).

This part of SM Mall of Asia, where you get a great view of the (not-exactly-so-grand) Manila Bay, inspired at least two of my artworks here on dA. See if any of you know them!

Clannad is without a doubt, the franchise that truly changed my life for the better (in a way) and opened my eyes to the depth of the sub-genre of visual novels it is a part of. Not to mention that Itaru Hinoue's lovely character design style and art inspired some of my sweeter stuff here on dA.

I owe it all to Touhou Project for my much better discovery and appreciation of traditional Japanese culture and mythologies somewhat. And as for why I put in Cirno here, it's because she's so adorably blue (my favorite color!) and baka. Not to mention she's an eternally cool customer (temperature-wise)!
Actually, Cirno is my number one fave of the all the Touhous!

Iron Man is one of my all-time favorite superheroes partly due to his high-tech nature. And even though I'm already a big fan of Shellhead since childhood, it is the recent live-action movies that truly defined my taste for high-tech, military-ish flying heroes. xDDDD

Transformers is yet another staple of my childhood, mostly since I was born at the same year it first came out.

It was through Airi of Queen's Blade that I finally realized how lovely Kazuhiro Takamura's style is (no wonder why Mahoro in the Mahoromatic anime is so much love). So much that the style soon became the one I mostly stick to these days (you know which of my art has it!). <33333

And finally, I have to say that I gained an even grander appreciation of Star Trek since 2003 (even though I watched many of the series and movies as a kid!). Though I've yet to post much of the stuff I've done since that time, you can already see much of the Trekkie in me in certain drawings here.

There are also many other stuff that have influenced me, but I can only cram this much! D:

Clannad was certainly one of the most life-changing moments in my life, and every now and then, I pay homage to its stories and lovable characters one way or another.

Fiolina Germi has such a sizable fanbase too. She certainly maintains all that glasses girl cuteness even with a crapload of guns and military vehicles at her disposal!

I chose the good ole Tomcat simply because of my childhood exposure to Top Gun (both the movie and the games), G.I. Joe, and Macross.

Ever since the latest GT-R came out, I've been giddy about it more than any other Japanese car before; dunno if it's the model's newfound popularity or the fact that it's arguably a great new look for Nissan's superb GT-R family.

Now we know what has influenced your art.

And knowing is half the battle.
