thanx! it was a lot of work and i had to find a way to defeat her without killing her or anyone else. not always an easy task when you're talking about super powered beings!

The composition and action flow looks effortless and is like having an eyeball massage!
Very cool and nice non lethal way to end the story, open end that is.

it seemed to be a tidy way to end the sequence. with super speed, vicky could easily have run and caught him so i had to have a way to neutralize her that played on her sense of heroics. if she thought she needed to stay behind to save a subway full of people, and then get knocked unconscious, then she would be defeated.
i was worried that readers might think she was dead in the last panel. she's not, but it's a concern for misunderstanding when you leave a character lying on the ground (like when cyclops was on the floor of the hellfire club in dark phoenix saga and nightcrawler says "he's dead!"---next issue he says, "he's alive!"

HA! Well only if it was a boxing glove with poison needles, but then if her powers were anything like FLASH she could have metabolized the poison. Just glad she's not dead. Unless you would have brought her back as a zombie, then, what fun!

Fantastic! Great use of his grappling hook! Interesting use of a...boxing glove?! Not something that 42X normally uses, but I guess we can blame it on the mind-control
