if your color is on a different layer than your lineart, just use the lasso tool to select the armor, the cut/copy so its on a different layer, and go Image->Adjustments->Hue and Saturation and play with the sliders

i only said that, because the armour should have been blue and thanks for the advice (i need to learn how to make that smile face would have use it too lol)
