i can try & explain every little thought process, although i hope you would rather pull what you wish from it.i have now been a deviant for 1 year. thank you to everyone who has supported me, and equally, been an inspiration. i appreciate it...

My interperatation is that in life we have to listen hard for the truth as it is only a whisper. That could mean that there are many dishonest people around and to get through life we need to make the right decisions and listen to thos who are true and loyal to you. Another reading is that in the art world and specifically on DA many people do not like to give negative comments or critiques and instead keep things pleasent to make sure that they do not burn any bridges and are able to gain as much support/success as possible. Sorry if that was long winded or just plain wrong
As for the visual piece itself I love the composition and the tones and assuming they are cropped you did a great job on that.

The first photo shows us that you are born with silver spoon in your mouth. And the second pic shows that someone is listening to your murmur.

The spoon fed truth is only a whisper When somebody decides to say something powerfully truthful it's so faint it's hard to here. Thats what I feel. Congrats on your one year anniversy thing to DA.
This shot is powerful, and think due to the odd natue of it, it just begs to be annalyzed. However, I would like to know why you did it the way you did.

Oh I love this, and not just because one of my favorite songs is called "truth is a whisper" by the goo goo dolls. it's quite odd that i stumbled upon a piece of the same title without searching for it, and even more odd that i like his piece almost as much as i like the song!!! this is absolutely lovely. the message is mysterious but important enough for all the above commenters to actually have thought about it, which means your piece is successful in that respect. and in another respect, your piece is successful in its composition - it is absolutely lovely. +fav.

Don't judge me just because i was born with the luxuries of life, you can't classify me because there's more to me than any type of conventional box you may wish to put me into. There's a lot more under the surface, if only you would look beyond the screaming image of me that you take for face value, the truth is there if only you look...or listen...hard enough. just what I got from it.

As for the actual composition of the piece, I adore the detail in the actual photos, the sepia is gorgeous (i wish it were a bit higher res tho?)...not a huge fan of the fontwork here, but I'm just a fusspot when it comes to shiznit like that.

what i get from it is much darker than the photographs.
gets me thinking about a poem/story/thing i am currently writing,
it is about two trees that come to life and fly off into the autumn sky
when they come back to the earth they see that the plants are bare
and cancer ridden. blaming themselves they disregard their love
and root themselves into the ground, dying also.
or something like that. the spoon's position in the mouth
reminded me of the selfless giving.
the apple of coal opening wide knowing the only right thing to do
is to suffer along with the other plants rather than be happy
themselves.
long read sorry. probably makes no sense... however, i like this way
of commenting. guessing and being all stuttery.

There seem to be many different interpretations of this, and I can see every one of them. What attracted me to this photo was the the interesting perspectives and framing. The photography itself is very professional, and placing both images together like this makes it more fun. Great job as always; I wouldn't expect anything less the great from you

for me, the top one may be saying that everyone
could use a dose of truth now and again,...and that
is what she is doing,...offering it,...yet, keeping her
mouth closed,...why? because truth ultimately
cannot me administered with words. words too
often are the enemy. truth by example is the only
way. and that's probably why there is so little of
it in the world.
it's like the weather really,...eveyone talks about it,...
but, nobody ever DOES anything about it.
as for the bottom,...well,...still kind of goes along with what
i was saying,...'seeing is believing'.
right?

I like how its sepia toned, but highlights of colors on the lips and eye shine through. Both shots are nicely composed and i dont see any problems...very nice work

as to the message I get .... the first image seems to me to be a reversal of the "silver spoon" saying, the spoon is backwards as if you've given more than you've received. The second image gives a feeling of being sheltered, things either not shown to you or that you choose to not see being blocked by your hand. Very complex, one would have to be in your pretty head to know the full truth I suppose.

From a distance, I thought it looked almost like a very complex drawing. Itβs not until we view the full size that we are able to appreciate all the detail. The reflection in the eye is especially nice, itβs well done and keeps from being clichΓ© . Your use of sepia is superb as usual, and the framing is interesting. I think the typography would look better at half the size and in a color from the photos, but who cares about type anyway.
