looks like a weasel cause the fur is sleek. period. skeleton is right but mongooses have "fluff"

Haha. Thanks. But most mongooses aren't really fluffy. Morrel is a slender mongoose [link] [link] They aren't all that fluffy, really. The Indian mongoose, on the other hand, have more "fluff."

I like the spine and the ribs, especially the way her pose makes her look wary and ready to spring. A very good job. And you did her face wonderfully - it looks all musteline.

Thanks, Dej! I actually started this as a skeleton. If you look closely, you might still be able to see the vertebrae.
I hope she doesn't look like a mustelid, though. Mongooses are of the Herpestidae family. Totally different from the otter/weasel lot. ^^

Well...she looks weasely-like. Maybe it's the triangular face? And the ears....and the nose...and....lots of other things. X] And yah, I know they're in a different family.
