Description
Southern Railway 2-8-0 #630 takes a spin on the Tennessee Valley Railroad turntable in East Chattanooga, Tennessee. TVRM being one of the few museums which simply doesn't "run around" the train at the end of each trip has a turntable on one end of it's railroad and a wye at the other. This leads to the interesting aspect that the coaches for every run they make are turned the opposite direction at the end of each run. You can spend a day at TVRM and the train will change several times in your photos.

Probably not since i already went to TVRM last weekend. The only reason to go to me would be if #4501 was finished and shown off.

That is the reason why I am going, but I doubt that 4501 will be completed in time.

They'll have to shave it close, the running gear is not installed yet. But they might be holding off on putting the rods on until the paints been applied. All the boiler lagging appears to be done and everythings sanded waiting for the paint shop.

Well, seeing that only a few more parts need to be put on, like the piping and etc - including the running gear - and, as you said, she is pretty much waiting for paint, 4501 may be completed just in time. Even if she isn't ready, I'll still go and take pictures of the 630 and post them on my profile.
