That tiny bit of off-focus bothers me, but at least you got the eye sharp. Which is normally the bases for bird photographers, its all about the eyes...

Wow. Great composition, I love how the eye is the main focus of the image as if to say it's the all seeing, The way the scales have been captured suggest a heavy plating of armour. This image can in turn represents that of something powerful. Nicely done
