what a fantastic goshawk! The end of the beak looks as though it blends back into the chest feathers but everything else is absolutely stunning! Not an easy position to draw either.

I did check it out, I think that's the best graphite hawk I've ever seen! Did you build it up from multiple references or was it just the one reference? It's hard to tell the species, do you know what species it is?

I really like this, with the great capture of the intensity of the accipitrine stare. The feather detail is also quite beautiful. I looked through the comments and could not find mention of the species. Is this a juvenile goshawk?
