On framing, sometimes it helps, sometimes not- i use it a lot now but maybe too much for some shots. When you want to "hold together" a shot that lacks punch, it works well( and to create mood), but some get lost inside their frames.

What you say is verry true,you also can use frames to hide some imperfections in pictures...if you look at mine some have details on the borders that i would like to hide...and a frame inside the picture would keep it original size
