Why would someone design clothes and jewelry for a creature that large!

She's beautiful, is she a daughter from Medusa?

if she wanted to wrap me up in that tail, I wouldn't stop her

It's unfathomable to think how much effort it took to detail her sepentine half. The color scheme alone is enough to inspire great praise, more so when combined with this beautiful woman and the lush background. As big as she is, I shudder to think of the fireballs she can chuck when she's properly angry. Plunderers beware.

Woah, very nice job on this! She looks wonderful and you put so much detail into this- the scales and their coloring are just wow, you even made the spacing of the scales change based on where the tail is bending!

How did you get the texture of her scales to curve?

Amazing work! Great details on everything. Great work on the background, the ruins and the sky.
And excellent work on her. Like that i can see her scales and great work on her clothes...or the lack their off.

Wow, Galya! She looks absolutely stunning! This is probably the best picture I've seen of her so far. Her face is exquisite; her tail is brilliantly done. And the setting is great.
If I were to really look for imperfections, perhaps the neck looks a little strange. But other than that, this picture is fantastic!

So... do Snake women shed their skin like real snakes? How does that work?

did it take you along time doing the lines on the tail

nice, really nice.
the only thing that kind of bothered me with creatures like centaurs en nagas, is the fact that they always have such a clear line between human and snake/horse. when i draw nagas i always make the human part have scales and such. this way it looks so unnatural.. if you know what i mean

wouldn't a naga or centaur in and of themselves be unnatural?

well, technically spoken half animals are possible.. since the world is alreayd filled with them.. it was just bypassing chance that the ape evolved, but it could very well have been a doifferent animal, if only that animal had the need to evolve.
so biologically spoken, nagas and centaurs can exist. but if they did they would be reptile or mamal, not both at the same time

SajjukKhar In reply to landor155 [2010-01-29 20:34:34 +0000 UTC]
i disagree, as there have been animals in the past that had both scales and fur, or scales and feathers, so why not scales and smooth skin?
π: 0 β©: 1
landor155 In reply to SajjukKhar [2010-01-29 21:38:10 +0000 UTC]
yes, but their internals are still set to one kind. reptile, amfibian, bird fish or mamal. their outside may vary, but theyΒ΄re never mamal and reptile at the same time

well, a Naga, being a mythical creature, is somewhat immune to the standards of scientific evolution
I mean, you don't hear people complaining about how Medusa has snakes for hair
*personally i think medusa was the most tragic of all the mythical characters, as she was beautiful, but cursed to being alone, as no one could gaze upon her...........gotta love those stupid greek gods and their senses of humor*
