Turning that green to pink somehow lets me think of Japanese culture, Japanese garden to be more specific.
That pink combined with water.

Everytime you post a picture with edited colours you type into your description,
for a more surreal atmospherebut I often end up seeing or imagining things that could be more or less real.

I really like the rock formation where the water found a way through.
I wish you also would have uploaded a photo that depicts the water as I would see it with my proper eyes; I'm really curious about its real look on that one.

Yeah pink foliage reminds me of cherry blossoms symbolic of Japanese culture. As far as I can remember, I started experimenting with the colour effect on this image:

Where the underlying concept lies in turning one range of colours like green foliage to something surreal while leaving other shades in a more natural state like brown wood bark, orange autumn leaves or white water... so there's kind of a duality between realism & surrealism maybe tricking someone into thinking the scene can be real if they take the more natural colours as a frame of reference.

That said, most all my waterfalls are long exposure as a matter of personal preference. Helps building patience and improving my photography skills for the use of tripod & neutral density filters, also easier to process in HDR with a smoother flow for the multiple exposures blended together instead of the software trying to combine a whole bunch of individual water drops from several photos.

Maybe it's like a beet bath. Yeah! I was reading about some natural dyeing techniques. Beautiful tonality.
