That makes no sense. Not everyone would be partying. This is a military fleet, someone always has to be on duty. There can only be one conclusion.
Something bad has happened,
The damned Pride still needs several hours or reassembly. She's not going anywhere. The DruRich's fast shuttle, on the other hand, has a fuel line leak. That takes all of ten minutes work. Double that time for refueling - hey, I'm all by myself here and those fuel lines are heavy! - and I fire up the engines.
Time to save Megan. And be a hero.
And in that order.
