Description An entry for #Hot-Bishie 's Spring Contest: [link]

Media: Shachihata brush tip pens, Pilot system drawing pens, DVD thin marker and Pilot board marker + Photoshop.

I don't think I'll win but the contest theme did make me want to make a spring-themed Finn and Jake "neo-Japanese" scroll style. All in good fun, right? On top of that, Haru Urara on loop. @___@;;

I'm kind of prowling around lately for series to infect with my new infatuation for this technique. Mostly it might be Natsume Yuujinchou though. It started with a Natsume fan art after all.

Hahaha I don't know... I'm kind of in love with this method so far from the experiments after looking at some imari plates. So yeah, maybe I've "won" by being happy! Thanks

Imari plates are the traditional plates made in Japan I believe. They were popular with the Dutch and English at one time, most likely during the 18th century. I'm not so sure but maybe I'll read it up.

Hahaha yeah, you're right!
