Well, I made these one afternoon in my backyard with a tub of paint and some straws. I cropped them the way I did because they were what I wanted to use, and I figured they might help. *shrug* They're not huge, and half of the time people move splatters off to the side anyway.

I really could use something like this, but I think it would be more functional for people if you concentrated on providing an entire splat instead of just cropped versions of them where the sides of them are cut off.
Nice though, I'll try them out! ^_~
