So my frand TsunamiHolmes and I were literally joking around and this idea just kind of appeared! I think it happened when I misspelled "drawing"? And we just kinda though, "Hey, that could be a WoF OC species..."

SO

Here's the idea for DrawWings:

~ As babies, DrawWings are a white-gray color, except for their eyes, which are pink. They have no horns, frills, or any unique colors. They are simply elegant, long-necked and long-tailed, pterodactyl-winged, wolf-snouted dragonets who are so bland that it's physically painful not to spruce them up with a bit of your own creativity.

~ All DrawWings are creatively minded in one way or another.

~ As a DrawWing grows older and learns more about its likes and dislikes, it evolves, growing colors, patterns, frills, horns etc. Their eyes can change color, too. The only way they can't change is their basic shape. They will always have long necks and tails, pterodactyl wings, wolfish snouts and opposable thumbclaw things. (They cannot grow gills, or develop an ability to breathe fire, or have thick tails to use as weapons, or change their scales to become camouflage, or anything of that sort.)

~ They have no natural weapons besides their teeth and claws. I guess their wings are pretty strong, a little more so than other dragons because of their thick leathery webbing. Because of their lack of natural weapons, they are forced to create their own weapons. (It's a blessing in disguise.)

~ There are no plain DrawWings older than one year old. No "my OC struggled to find his hobby so he grew up sad and uncreative until SUDDENLY WOWEE they have a passion for so-and-so." Yeahhh that's just unoriginal.

~ DrawWings will never hit a point at which they stop evolving and changing. It may slow and grow consistent once they reach a certain age, but they won't stop completely.

~ This is a free species. You can make as many as you want, they're purely for creativity.
