Beautiful day outside with only just a few clouds looking like pink cotton candy. Is mainly what Max thought looking up into the sky while sitting on a bench and putting on his shiny show boots, It’s his first show in the new stable, he started working here quite recently and one of the assigned horses he got to work with was Baroness, or as he likes to call her Bonny. Oh what a delight is this mare, just a pretty face, curious eyes and so much energy. During training she is a handful as it seems to quite difficult to actually tire her. This mare has one main talent and that’s her jumps, considered a very bouncy and energetic Barroco it’s almost unusual, as most of other horses representing this breed seem to be much calmer and more… how to put it. Posh? Self-cantered? King is a perfect example of this but of course not every horse is the same, she proves this perfectly neighing and tossing her head. Already tacked up simply held by Laura waiting for Max. The course was not the biggest, obstacles not the tallest yet the mare seemed to be constantly gazing at them arena with her eyes wide open, neighing at other contestants as if she was saying “I want to be there” again. Very energetic lass, Max finally prepared himself, with the blue jacket, helmet, boots and everything. Looking like a champ, matching colours with Bonny they looked like a great team!

The blondie chuckled seeing how the new member of the “odd” family walked over fully prepared.

-Oh you wish

He gave her a smile and laughed as well, later grabbing the reins. The mare was just restless at this point almost bucking.

-She never seems to run out of energy doesn’t she? –He asked raising his eyebrow-

-Nope, this is why she’s in your hands after all you do these kinds of disciplines and Charles has a busy schedule lately.

Max simply got onto the saddle and made himself comfortable, it’s not like this will be a simple ride. Giving the almost pure whited mare a pat on the neck.

-Just a few more minutes Bonny, calm down.

The mare responded by pinning her ears forward and giving a loud squeal, just to announce she was ready, tho looking at the other contestants walking up to the arena she seemed annoyed, why did she have to wait? Almost behaving like a child that wanted their new toy RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW.

She bucked a bit in frustration but still had to wait. It was stronger than her. At this moment Max allowed her to move around a bit, let her walk, back and forward maybe as a warm up or just to let her release some energy. It did work but for a short time, until it was finally their turn. Being “allowed” to head to the arena made the mare trot in a confident and almost flashy manner. She was ready and so was her rider!
