It just floated into my mind.I've always been fascinated by symbiotic lifeforms and sea life, so why not paint both? The main idea in this piece is the relationship between them. The anemone/slug creature offers protection and nourishment while the crustacean/insect one provides mobility and a bioluminescence that helps to attract prey.
It's been so long since my last submission that I should be ashamed of myself, but I can assure you that just because I haven't been posting it doesn't mean that I haven't been practicing! I still have a long way to go but at least I feel that I'm making progress. So if I may ask you, please do leave me a comment if you feel like doing so. Any critique, comment or random thought is already a huge help to me!

I have actually. I've took the creature design class with Anthony Jones on schoolism.com, great class, and I've been practicing by myself all the time. And now I'm going to San Francisco for a MFA! It's gonna be a blast to not be alone as an artist anymore!

Well a fried and I (she also did Don's course) are going to LA soon to attend Kevin Chen's Concept Design Academy.
It's a 10 week course and you can choose the classes you wanna do.
Meanwhile I landed my first children's book assignment, which I've almost finished

The MFA stands for Master of Fine Arts, I think it will be great since all I have right now is a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design.

Thank you! I've been trying to make the colors blend more naturally to give it a more realistic look. It's hard, but fun!
