A fossil Pokemon native to the Paveni region.

"It’s also worth noting that Paveni actually has one more fossil Pokemon, the Rock/Water Apexteus. Apexteus lived in the deep ocean around Paveni, which may be why so few of its fossil remains have been found. In fact, there exists precisely one non-fossil specimen of the Pokemon, which is kept on display in the Natural History museum in Posnet City. It’s thought to have been the top predator in times gone by, and it’s not hard to see why. The plating on its head is made of solid stone, and is thick enough to shield it from most frontal attacks, while its powerful jaws are capable of crushing just about anything unlucky enough to be caught in them."
